Born from a Love for Pets. Built by Family.

Tails By The Sea Pet Grooming was founded by a Brazilian mother-and-son team, Marlene De Oliveira and Matheus Oliveira. With more than 35 years of family grooming experience, their story is rooted in a lifelong love for pets, beautiful craftsmanship, and the belief that every pet deserves to be cared for with patience and affection.

For their family, working with pets is more than a profession—it is a calling that has been shared across generations. Grooming has always been part of their lives, and Matheus has been surrounded by the art of pet care since he was born.

Today, Marlene and Matheus bring that family tradition to every Tails By The Sea location, combining experience, compassion, premium products, and personalized attention to create a grooming experience that feels both luxurious and genuinely loving.

Marlene De Oliveira is the heart and founder of Tails By The Sea. With decades of hands-on grooming experience, she has devoted her life to caring for pets and perfecting the art of making every pet look and feel their very best.

Her gentle touch, patience, and natural connection with pets have shaped the values behind the business. What began as a lifelong passion became a family legacy built on trust, compassion, and exceptional care. Marlene believes that every pet should be treated with the same tenderness and attention she would give her own.

Matheus Oliveira

Matheus was born into the world of pet grooming. From his earliest memories, he was surrounded by dogs, learning from his family and developing a genuine understanding of their care, comfort, and individual personalities.

Today, Matheus carries that family tradition forward with a modern vision for luxury grooming. His dedication, attention to detail, and warm relationship with pets and their families help make every visit personal. For Matheus, grooming is not simply about creating a beautiful style—it is about earning each pet’s trust and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
